Ding Dong Ding Dong

Christmas is coming sooner than you think. Bells are ringing, Christmas trees are being put up, decorations here and there and Parols EVERWHERE! (pic of parol below)

That's what I hear and see every time it's Christmas... It's the sound of Distant Bells from churches and happy kids caroling.

Christmas is my favorite time of the year (for me personally) because it's the time when families are together just being happy and when I really feel the peace love and joy of everyone to one another. People greeting you Merry Christmas happily! 

"Namamasko Po!" Is what I say to my elders whenever it's Christmas time. Well for starters, "Namamasko Po" Is what you say here in the Philippines every Christmas Time when you want other people to give you money as a gift... Well at least that's how I understand it... But they lead me two choices... To save or to spend it? that's the choice that always bugs me...

"Oh buy clothes with it!"

"Buy a gift for yourself!" Majority say...

But is it the right choice? I did that last Christmas but it was totally worth it! My solution? Save AND Spend. And I would personally enumerate 3 reasons why.

Why save?

1. For future use

2. For Back-up

3. For whatever you want to save on for what you want/need

Why Spend?

1. To get what you want

2. To do what those people say... To buy a gift for your own

3. Why not spend it for gifts for other people? it wouldn't hurt to give your friends and family gifts right... but it doesn't matter how much or how big or small your gift is... It's about the thought you put in it and how you made the person smile.

Well to conclude this very short post...

Christmas isn't about how much you receive or how many gifts you get... It's about you making people happy and how you celebrate Jesus' birthday. It isn't the size or the amount, it's about the thought you put in it.

So I made a new blog to practice my writing skills and see if it would be "appealing" or "good" to other people like you.

I'm a normal 13 year old living on this world... yeah I personally think that the world would be better if we help and correct all the wrong/inappropriate things we do...

I love music!

I play the violin and piano and maybe (soon) the guitar!

My favorite genre of music are mainly classical and pop

But if you ask what's my favorite group/band it's One Direction. After One Direction it's Little Mix and The Wanted.

I LOVE FOOD!

yeah.. pretty normal right?!

if you ask me what's my favorite food I always reply "PIZZA!" .....................wrong!!!

I only say that so people won't judge me because it seems hard to choose just one if there are A LOT of food to choose from...

I am also a bookworm

If you know me from school or something, you may have seen me around with a book in my hand and read almost every time (even during class hours) because I believe that books (ANY kind even though it has a lot of pictures or none at all) can enhance your grammar and can make you imagine and sometimes, without you noticing it!

you might also wonder why 9138 minutes is the name of my blog...

SIMPLE

9138 because those numbers really do mean a lot to me and minutes because time passes by and I must move on forward not backward and accept what just happened...

So concluding my first post on this blog, I'm just a simple girl with a lot of dreams and hoping for the world to be a better place...

Who would I be when I change? I would rather be original not just copying other people's style because that makes you a copycat or something...
Change may be good... but not all the time because you don't know what will happen next or when it would happen or what is the result... good or bad?
